Background check company gets new, responsive site.
Problem: Original site was built on a .NET platform that made it challenging for the non-developer to update simple text or content. Work had to be outsourced which was costly. The site was not responsive, navigation was disorganized, and call to actions were missing.
Narrative: I joined One Source as their first EVER Marketing Manager. My job was to bring in prospective clients. Unfortunately, their website was way past due on getting an update. I had previously dappled with WordPress at a previous company and felt this was the perfect opportunity to venture into a complete website overhaul. Luckily, they supported this and I was very fortunate they gave me a lot of autonomy over this project.
Solution: I moved the site to WordPress which had an easier interface to work with and could be managed internally which provided cost-savings and avoided delays in developer turnaround time. By applying a premium WordPress theme (Enfold), organizing the pages and menu, the website had a clean look that was easy to navigate.
